The sixth edition of International Pulp Week returns to the beautiful city of Vancouver, , British Columbia (Canada) will be held May 3-6, 2009 at the Four Seasons hotel.
Recently named the world's "Most Liveable City" by Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), Vancouver offers travellers both outstanding opportunities for outdoor adventure and the sophisticated amenities of a world-class city.

The completely refurbished Four Seasons Hotel has been selected as the conference venue. Negotiated rates for the block of rooms are either $245 CDN/night for superior guestrooms or $275 CDN/night for deluxe king guestrooms (single/double occupancy, plus taxes).

Producers’ registrations subsidize the attendance of market pulp end-users who, since International Pulp Week’s conception, have been able to participate all events at no charge. Once registered, producers are encouraged to invite their customers to join them for a drink at the opening cocktail reception, held in the spectacular Victor’s, as well as attend events throughout the week, as outlined in the program.

The Pulp and Paper Products Council (PPPC) organises this event as a service to the industry, allowing for a multitude of business meetings and networking opportunities that would otherwise require travel to several continents. It is the industry’s continued support that has allowed this conference to flourish, and in particular that of the market pulp producers. In recognition of those companies offering their strong support, International Pulp Week will be introducing a sponsorship program.
